Happy New Year to all! I hope you had a great time last night. Here is s little taste of what we were up to over Christmas and New Year's.
The chocolate cake I brought for New Year's Eve was a hit. Here is the recipe in case you are not juicing right now:)
Bittersweet Chocolate Cake- by Cucina Lisa
Serves 8-12
10 oz Ghirardelli 60% cacao chocolate chips
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter cut into pieces
4 eggs, separated
3/4 c. sugar
1 T. flour
pinch of cream of tartar
-Butter a pan w/ removable sides
-Melt chocolate in top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and whisk in butter, then sugar.
-Add egg yolks and then flour.
-Beat egg whites with a pinch of cream of tartar then fold them into the chocolate mix.
-Bake at 375 for approx 20-25 min.
-Dust with powdered sugar.

2014 promises to be a big one! I have been working hard on a Florida project to be completed in the Spring. The clients asked for a modern Italian seaside villa, with lots of COLOR. Here are some of the fun things that we will be using throughout the house:
